A healthier alternative to your traditional fries. Crisp and delicious — versatile as a snack, or as a side to your dinner! I love dipping these in ketchup or hummus. And you could literally make them with your eyes closed, they are that easy. But please don’t do that, the oven is hot.
- Raw large carrots
- Avocado or olive oil
- Garlic Powder
- Chili flakes or cayenne powder
First, preheat your oven to 400 degrees. While that's warming, cut your carrots in fourths lengthwise and then cut those pieces in half. You want to make sure they aren't too thick so you can get a nice char. Spray or drizzle with avocado oil, and season with salt, garlic powder, and some chili flakes if you want some heat. Roast in the oven 45 minutes or until edges are browned and well done.
